What's Going On? May 30th through June 2nd

Thought for the Week Wrapping Up Unit 10: Discrete Math This week, students will complete their unit 10 summative assessments.  We will spend Tuesday's class reviewing, Wednesday/Thursday's class completing the BB9 summative and Friday's class completing the EMPT paper summative.  There will not be an opportunity for a Friday flex day this week.  During Finals week, students will complete an EMPT culminating exam.

  Thought for the Week Friday's Early Release Schedule Looking Ahead: Final Exam Schedule Unit 10: Discrete Mathematics This week, we will focus on probability.  On Monday we will talk about probability.  The two other class days for the week will focus on "Combination" and "Permutations".  Students should be prepared to complete the Unit 10 summative assessment activities during the week of May 30th. *** Note *** We will be returning our textbooks during class on Tuesday.  Please be sure to bring them to class.

Thought for the Week   Countdown to Summer Spirit Days - Join in the Fun! Unit 10: Discrete Mathematics This week, we will continue with our study of discrete math.  We will spend Monday's class focused on arithmetic sequences  while Tuesday's class will focus on geometric sequences .  For our last lesson of the week, we will take a look at the Binomial Theorem and Pascal's Triangle.

  Thought for the Week Countdown to Summer Spirit Days Wrapping Up Unit 9: Exponential and Logarithmic Functions We will spend Monday and Tuesday's class periods completing our summative events that go along with unit 9.  During Monday's class, students will complete the paper EMPT check-in.  During class on Tuesday, students will complete the BB9 portion of the summative.  Once this is complete, students will move into our tenth and final unit of the year about Discrete Mathematics.  During our last class period of the week, we will take a look at sequences.
